The Equalizer
® Min/Max provides producers the ability to receive a guaranteed futures price range. This unique marketing tool allows a producer to designate a futures floor and a futures ceiling during a specific time period. Below are a few characteristics of the Equalizer
® Min/Max:
- Each day that the market trades between the specified floor and ceiling, futures will be sold.
- In the event prices fall below the minimum price guarantee, CGB will continue using this minimum price protection level to market your bushels.
- If futures levels exceed the maximum price level, CGB will use the maximum price level to average your sales on a daily basis.
